Onsite Civil

Onsite Civil

We build from the ground up — starting below the surface.
Onsite civil work forms the foundation of every successful construction project, ensuring structural stability, proper utility installation, and long-term site performance. At G. Divine Construction, we deliver engineered excavation and civil solutions aligned with design requirements and site conditions.
What We Do
01
Excavation & Earthworks

Bulk excavation, trenching, grading, and soil removal performed in accordance with engineered drawings to achieve proper site elevations and foundation readiness.

02
Underground Utilities

Installation of sanitary, storm, and water systems constructed to municipal and engineering standards to ensure long-term reliability and compliance.

03
Shoring & Stabilization

Temporary earth retention systems and slope stabilization methods implemented to ensure safe excavation conditions and structural protection.

04
Drainage Systems

Installation of surface and subsurface drainage systems designed to manage water flow and protect long-term site integrity and structural performance.

05
Site Servicing Preparation

Preparation and coordination of underground services required for foundations, utilities, and future construction phases.

06
Coordination & Compliance

Ongoing coordination with engineers, surveyors, and inspectors to ensure all civil works meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We regularly work on single-family and infill residential lots in Metro Vancouver, including tight sites in established neighbourhoods. We assess access and clearance requirements during the initial site visit.

Absolutely. We prefer to. Reviewing geotechnical and structural engineering documents before we mobilize ensures we excavate to the right depths, to the right bearing conditions, and use the right backfill materials.

Compaction testing verifies that backfill materials have been placed and compacted to the density specified by the project engineer. We coordinate with third-party testing labs to provide compaction reports when required.

Yes. Excavated material is loaded and hauled to approved disposal or recycling facilities. Clean fill material may be available for reuse on other sites; we can discuss options during project planning.
